How to share a family calendar

The goal is one calendar that every adult in your kids' lives can see without asking you, that updates itself when plans change. Here is the clean way to set it up.

  1. 1

Create a calendar per kid or activity

In TangoHive, make a calendar for each kid (or each activity if one kid has many). Color-code them so a glance shows whose event is whose.

  2. 2

Fill them by pasting, not typing

Paste the school newsletter, the coach's email, or the team site link into Add events. AI proposes every event; you approve the list before anything saves.

  3. 3

    Combine into a family collection

Create a collection, add all the calendars, and you have one merged family view with a single link.

  4. 4

    Share the link once

Send the share link to the other parent, grandparents, and the sitter. The page needs no account and is always current.

  5. 5

    Have everyone subscribe

On the share page they tap Add to Apple Calendar or Add to Google Calendar. From then on, every change you make appears on their phones automatically.

Common questions

What if someone just wants to check the calendar occasionally?

The share link works as a bookmark. It opens a full calendar view in any browser, always current, no subscription needed.

Can I stop sharing later?

Yes. Revoke the link any time, or generate a fresh link if the old one spread further than you wanted.
