Privacy policy

TangoHive is a product of PerfSpot LLC. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain English.

What we collect

• Your email address, for signing in
• Calendars and events you create, paste, or import
• Basic profile info from your sign-in provider (name, email)
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps)

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use your email to identify your account, your name to label it, and nothing else. We never request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google service. We do not sell this data, we do not share it with third parties for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Tango Hive from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

What we share

When you create a share link, anyone with that link can see the events on that calendar or collection, and anyone who subscribes to its feed receives those events in their calendar app. That is the point of the product; only you can create or revoke those links.

Schedule text and links you submit for AI import are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to extract events. Sub-processors for hosting, database, and email delivery handle data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember product state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can delete calendars, events, and share links from inside the product at any time. To delete your account and its data, or for any other request, use the contact page and we will take care of it. If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke our access from your Google account settings.

Email communications

When you create an account, you'll receive transactional emails (login codes, billing, account information, material service changes) and occasional product updates about TangoHive. You can opt out of product updates at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or from your account settings. Transactional emails are required to use the service and cannot be opted out of while your account is active. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use your email to market our other products without your separate explicit consent.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Where we operate

We operate from the United States. By using the service you acknowledge your data is processed in the US.
