Calendar import

Copying events from a file or feed into a calendar you own and can edit, versus subscribing read-only.

Importing creates your own editable copy of events; subscribing creates a live read-only view. Import when you need to fix, merge, or curate; subscribe when the source is maintained and trustworthy.

A good importer also handles re-imports: bringing the same source in again should propose updates to matching events, not duplicates.

TangoHive publishes clean ICS feeds with stable UIDs and proper timezone handling, and turns pasted schedules into shareable calendars. See how it works.
