Feed refresh interval

How often a calendar app re-fetches a subscribed feed; the reason updates are not always instant.

Each app chooses its own refresh cadence: Apple Calendar lets users pick (from about 5 minutes), Outlook checks every few hours, and Google Calendar refreshes subscribed URLs on its own schedule, sometimes taking several hours.

The publisher cannot force a faster refresh. When timing matters, the always-current share page is the reliable view; the subscribed copy catches up on the app's schedule.
